Lesson 1: The Fundamentals of Fixed Annuities

This initial lesson dives into the basics of fixed annuities,explaining their classifications, features, and provisions. It aims to equip attendees with a foundational understanding of fixed annuities. The lesson emphasizes on enabling CPAs to effectively utilize these tools in their accounting practice, especially since many of their clients have annuities. Learning the fundamentals can greatly benefit their clients by helping the CPA guide them on how these financial vehicles may affect their tax planning strategies.

Lesson 2: A Review of Fixed Indexed Annuities

In the second lesson, we investigate the world of. fixed indexed annuities. This comprehensive review will further solidify attendees’ understanding, preparing them to identify appropriate applications for these financial instruments.

Lesson 3: The Fundamentals of Life Insurance Planning

The third lesson shifts focus to life insurance planning, introducing attendants to different types, principal uses, and business uses of life insurance. The lesson emphasizes on enabling CPAs to effectively utilize these tools in their accounting practice.

Lesson 4: How Fixed and Variable Annuities are used to Fund Employee Retirement Savings Plans for the Independent and Small Business Owner

Upon completion of this module, learners will be able to understand how fixed and variable annuities are used to fund Employee Retirement Savings Plans, particularly for independent and small business owners. 

Participants will delve into the characteristics and benefits of fixed and variable annuities, coupled with life insurance, specifically tailored for retirement planning in small businesses. Through in-depth analysis, participants will learn how to apply these financial tools to craft effective retirement solutions, considering the unique features of 412(e) Defined Benefit Plans, New Comparability Profit Sharing Plans, and Safe Harbor 401K Plans. This comprehensive understanding will enable participants to navigate the complexities of retirement planning for small businesses

The program is designed for a basic level of knowledge, requiring no prerequisite understanding of the subject matter. The content is structured to enhance the professional competence and development needs of licensed CPAs. Participants will gain practical insights through real-time instruction by subject matter experts. The knowledge acquired will enable CPAs to provide more comprehensive and strategic tax advice to their clients, incorporating fixed annuities, fixed indexed annuities, and life insurance into broader financial planning.  Complaint Resolution Policy

Our free CPA (Certified Public Accountant) course is committed to providing a positive and enriching learning experience. We understand that concerns or complaints may arise, and we are dedicated to resolving them promptly and fairly. This Complaint Resolution Policy outlines the procedures for addressing and resolving any issues that learners may encounter during the course.

Submitting a Complaint:

Learners who wish to file a complaint should follow these steps:

  • Contact Support:
    • In the first instance, learners are encouraged to reach out to our support team through the designated channels provided on our platform or website https://education.awrpc.info/.
    • Include detailed information about the nature of the complaint, such as the specific issue, date, time, and any relevant supporting documentation.
  • Formal Complaint Submission:
    • If the initial contact with support does not lead to a satisfactory resolution, learners can submit a formal complaint in writing via email to complaints@awrpc.info or call Nancy Mitchell at  310-348 -2927
    • The written complaint should include the learner’s full name, contact information, a detailed description of the complaint, and any supporting evidence.

Complaint Review Process:

Once a formal complaint is received, our team will follow these steps:

  • Acknowledgment:
    • An acknowledgment email will be sent to the learner within [48 hours] of receiving the formal complaint, confirming its receipt and providing an estimated timeline for resolution.
  • Investigation:
    • Our team will conduct a thorough investigation into the complaint, considering all relevant information provided by the learner and any other pertinent data.
  • Resolution Proposal:
    • Based on the findings of the investigation, a resolution proposal will be prepared. This may include corrective actions, additional support, or any other measures deemed necessary to address the complaint.
  • Communication:
    • The resolution proposal will be communicated to the learner in writing, outlining the steps that will be taken to address the complaint. If additional time is required, the learner will be informed of the delay and provided with a new estimated timeline.

Escalation:

If the learner is dissatisfied with the proposed resolution, they have the option to escalate the matter. The escalation process involves:

  • Appeal:
    • The learner can submit an appeal, clearly stating the reasons for their dissatisfaction with the proposed resolution. The appeal should be sent to complaints@awrpc.info.
  • Final Review:
    • An impartial review will be conducted at the highest level of authority within the organization to assess the appeal and determine a final resolution.

Recording and Continuous Improvement:

All complaints and their resolutions will be documented for the purpose of analysis and continuous improvement of our free CPA course. The information gathered from complaints will be used to enhance the learning experience and prevent similar issues in the future.

We are committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process for resolving complaints, and we appreciate the feedback provided by our learners to help us maintain the highest standards of education.

CFor each 50 minute module completed, participant will be awarded one CPE credit.  Completion of all 4 modules  awards the participant 4  CPE credits.
